Ok, it's been more than a month. I guess I should put something up here eh?

Life's been a bit of a rollercoaster. Then again, when has it not been?

Met up with old uni friends a few weeks back. It's amazing where everyone is now. Not too long ago, we were happy-go-lucky undergrads who watched TV and went down to the beach and car pooled to go late night shoppping. Now, we're all in different parts of the working world doing different things. One's in education, one's in research and another one's in Ernst & Young doing stuff I know nothing about because I'm so not a numbers person. But we were once flatmates. In a not-so-distant Perth. I'm glad our paths crossed.

I'm settling in nicely in my job. I think this is what I want to do. I'm glad I got the chance to do it :) One thing bugs me about it though. The having to be nice to people part. Especially when you think they're un-nice. Because it's part of the job. That's the part that kills me. Oh, and the translation of Chinese part too. That is a MAJOR bummer.

But anyway, I'm happy for now. Will be heading to Malaysia for a retreat in March. Then, depending on what happens, there may be plans to go down under. Can't wait to get out of the country. If I stay here too long, I'll start feeling that I'm getting brainwashed and I need to get out to keep my mind open. But then that's just me. It's probably not true anyway.

And here's a personal note to Mr LDJ Andrew - thanks for being there when I really needed someone. I'm glad I could count on you. Haven't got the phone bill yet but I'm not looking forward to it! Anyway, I'm grateful to have you in my life. You're a great friend and a wonderful Aunt Aggie :) But still masculine, don't worry ;)
