So this exchange happened at Coffee Bean, Bugis:

Cashier: That will be $9 please

I hand her my debit card

Cashier: Will that be Nets or Visa?

Me: Visa please.

Cashier: Oh, you need to spend at least $10 to use Visa.

Stares at me, waiting for my instructions

Me: Okaaaay, then Nets please.

Hello??? Was that the biggest waste of my time? Why did she even ask me which to use if I was only eligible for one form of payment??? And after telling me that, why did she not proceed to swipe for Nets???

I was most irritated.

That said, I've been doing ok lately. I've just come back from Bangkok and should post some pictures if I'm not lazy. Unfortunately, I think I am so the photos will just have to wait :)
