"I believe in Angels because the Bible says there are Angels; and I believe the Bible to be the true Word of God" - Billy Graham

I finally did it! I signed the contract. Put pen to paper and swirled the ink across. In less than a second, I took the step to a brand new start which I am very grateful for.

I must admit that I didn't pray fervently about it. I actually remember praying only a few times. But I was confident in knowing that it's not so much about the choice we make but about how we handle what comes after. I felt that I had to take that tiny step of faith and put my hand in God's and say, "Ok Mr Father God Almighty, I'm going to go the distance with You and I'm glad You're here with me".

I'm really excited about this new phase. I think as we go along, we realise that it's not about the money (although that's very important.. haha..) as much as it is about the people and the welfare. Nobody wants to work for Ebenezer Scrooge.

But anyway, I hope things go well when I drop the bomb. Am really rather freaked out about it. Keep me in your prayers.

So, in pure "bo liao-ness", I went to this site called http://www.myheritage.com and submitted my photo to see which celebrity I look like. Apparently, I'm 70% Drew Barrymore, 68% Kristin Kreuk (hel-lo Superman!!) and some percentage Rachel Weisz and Zhang Ziyi (I can't remember the numbers). It's quite amusing although I don't know if I want to resemble Drew Barrymore!!

Life is sort of in limbo at the moment. I want to get the contract out of the way. I guess I'll update more when I've done that. As of now, mum's the word.

Ooh, am looking forward to Alan & Violet's wedding this Sat/Sun! *insert wedding march* It's nice when old friends get married.

I realise why I don't blog as much now. Apart from the fact that my time is often spent more with the bf, I don't really want to face the computer all day at work and then come back to it at home and type away.

So that explains it. In any case, I hope you've all been well. I'm too lazy to get the chatterbox up again so I'll try to enable the comments link at the end of each post and you guys can comment if you wish. But knowing the people who read my blog (or who still do), I'm not expecting many comments (if any!)

Also, big change coming up in terms of the job. But I shall leave that to when it actually happens before I reveal anything here. You never know which colleague might be reading your blog!

That's about all I have to say for now. That was a quick update but I'm sure I'll be back with more witty things to say in due time.

Oh, but I'll end with this - I don't think Singapore's a safe place anymore.
